All of our buses are equipped with ADA-compliant wheelchair lifts. 24-hour advance reservations are required.

What do I do if...

  • I missed my bus? Call 734.707.7AIR (7247) during normal business hours. Our staff will gladly help you reschedule a trip on the next available bus.   
  • I'd like to change or cancel my reservation? Call 734.707.7AIR (7247) during normal business hours, prior to your scheduled departure. Same day changes depend upon bus availability.

Does the bus have seat belts and are child car seats allowed on board?

All buses have seat belts for added safety. Child safety seats are welcome if you purchase a ticket for your child.

Are the buses wheelchair accessible? 

Yes, however, 24-hour advance reservations are required. Please call our office or enter "wheelchair lift" in the notes area below the passenger name box when making the reservation online.

Is there a fee for luggage? 

Each passenger is allowed two checked bags (max 50 lbs. per bag), one carry-on and a purse or personal bag free of charge. A $15 per bag fee will be charged for overweight and extra bags.

If I miss my scheduled trip, can I take another bus without having to pay an additional fee? 

Yes, If you missed your scheduled departure to or from the Airport, please call the office so we can reschedule you for the next available shuttle.

Do I have to print and bring my confirmation with me? 

Yes, please bring all receipts, boarding passes, and parking vouchers with you.

Is there signage at Detroit Metro Airport?

Yes, signs are located inside the terminals directing you to Public Transit. AirRide bus stop signs are posted on the Lower Level at International Arrivals at McNamara Terminal and at the north end of the Ground Transportation Center at North Terminal. Please read your emailed itinerary to get exact details on where to locate the bus.

How can I change or cancel my reservation?

You can change or cancel your reservation by calling 734.707.7AIR during office hours. Same day changes depend upon coach availability. Office hours are 6:30am-7:00pm Mon - Fri, and 7:30am-7:00pm Sat - Sun.

Is service provided daily?

AirRide operates 365 days a year. However, our holiday schedules vary from those on the “Schedule” page. It’s easy to check our schedule for any holiday. Use the “Book a Trip” feature to choose the holiday travel date and the schedule will display automatically.
